New Rainforest agate semi-precious stone polished nugget beads at Soulfire Artisan! A while back I ran across these nuggets that I fell in love with. Unfortunately no one seemed to know what type of stone they were. I bought a few strands and decided to do some research. It took me forever to finally figure out what these were. Some called it Poppy Jasper, others websites said it was Rainforest Jasper. I finally found an exact match to the nuggets and found out that they are called Rainforest Agate. Kind of strange, but this is a type of Jasper. It has gorgeous "psychedelic" prints on most of the nuggets that consist of orange, white, brown, green and even some blue jasper with pockets of chalcedony.
